Amazing 3D architechture

In addition to writing a blog, I am addicted to reading them. Especially crafting ones, written by mothers. It's good to know that I'm not the only one out there that has all these crazy ideas running through my head! Plus, they're great places to find crafts to keep my extremely energetic 4 year old ocupado. And believe me, I could use all the help I can get!

This particular project idea comes from Makes and Takes. It has TONS of colorful and easy crafts for the munchkins. Here's the gist of this project. Take different colors of paper, whatever you have laying around, and cut them into different kinds of fun, 3D shapes. Next, find a small piece of cardboard to glue the various pieces onto. For full instructions, go to http://www.makeandtakes.com/creating-3-d-paper-sculptures-with-kids.

   Here's our masterpiece!

And this is one very proud Boo Boo!
We had so much fun doing this! I assisted with the creation of the shapes and Boo Boo glued them on the cardboard. I have to say my husband was extremely impressed with this sculpture. And Boo Boo had a blast explaining how each shape could move. This was a great way to practice our colors, shapes, and team working skills.

As always, I'd love to see pics of your creations!!
